MEET DR. TORRENS
Dr. Torrens is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor working closely with patients and families in both California and Oregon. Once on the path of conventional medicine, Dr. Torrens made a switch after seeing the continued loss of connection between doctor and patient. She believes the best medicine can only be provided by spending more time with each patient, hearing their story, and developing a strong therapeutic relationship.

Dr. Torrens is passionate about helping her patients find true and meaningful healing, so they may return to a state of balance, and not only live long. She goes beyond managing symptoms, and works with the whole person, understanding that our body is a complex and interconnected system. She strives to identify and treat the root cause of disease, placing an emphasis on the brain-gut-hormone connection and how these systems affect one another.

As every individual is unique, both physically and in life circumstances, Dr. Torrens utilizes a variety of therapies to create customized treatment plans. In collaboration, Dr. Torrens can help you find the wellness plan best suited for your life. The best treatment plan is one you can do - and Dr. Torrens is excited to help you discover what that is.
HEALTH OPTIMIZATION
FUNCTIONAL GASTROENTEROLOGY
It has been long believed that the gut is the center of health. Supporting healthy digestion and encouraging a strong microbiome can help alleviate many symptoms and diseases. Treating functional problems, like gas and bloating, and diseases such as IBS, IBD and SIBO have lasting effects on mental and physical health. A HAES approach is used with nutritional and weight counseling.
FUNCTIONAL ENDOCRINOLOGY
Hormones are the body's master messengers, impacting everything from energy, mood, metabolism and menstrual health. Healthy hormone balance is essential for women and men throughout life. Using a variety of natural therapies, including bio-identical hormone replacement, can provide relief to hypothyroidism, diabetes, insulin resistance, adrenal dysfunction and more.
WOMEN'S HEALTH & HORMONES
From puberty, to pregnancy, and through menopause, women's health and hormones continually change. Optimizing a healthy balance in hormones helps women to feel and look their best, and helps treat conditions such as PMS, PMDD, PCOS and endometriosis. Balance is achieved through bio-identical hormone replacement, and non-hormonal means such as nutrition and natural supplements.
NATUROPATHIC
PEDIATRICS
Development from newborns through older childhood is filled with frequent and unique changes. Healthy and robust development is supported using a holistic approach, encouraging healthy nutrition and providing gentle, yet effective, treatments for the many needs of growing babies and kids. Families are further supported with ongoing education and counseling on normal and expected changes in their little ones over time.
MENTAL HEALTH &
SLEEP
True well-being encompasses not only physical health, but also mental and emotional health. More often than not, mental health concerns are related to or caused by physical factors. By using a holistic approach, the root cause of mental health concerns like anxiety, depression, insomnia, concentration difficulties, and chronic fatigue can be identified and addressed.
WELLNESS &
LONGEVITY
Preventative medicine and early detection of disease is essential in living a long and vital life. Investing in your health before you are sick saves you future time, money and energy. Wellness and longevity protocols focus on optimizing nutrition and lifestyle and creating personalized supplement regimens, with particular focus on addressing individuals unique needs.
