CAN I USE MY INSURANCE?
Office visits are not covered by insurance, though superbills can be provided upon request. Depending on your insurance, you can submit these to request reimbursement. Many PPO plans will cover some these costs. For those with HSA or FSA funds, these can typically be used to cover office visits.
IN WHAT STATES ARE YOU ABLE TO SEE PATIENTS?
I am licensed to see patients in both California and Oregon. California patients may be seen in-person in Palo Alto, or virtually anywhere else. Oregon patients are exclusively virtual. Some services, such as injection therapies and well child checks, can only be done in-person in Palo Alto.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM WORKING TOGETHER?
The initial visit focuses on gathering a comprehensive history of your current and past health, current lifestyle and health goals. Comprehensive labs are typically ordered during this first visit to gather additional information. From there, a personalized treatment plan is developed and updated over time.
HOW LONG DO PATIENTS TYPICALLY WORK WITH DR. TORRENS?
This can vary based on your current health and long-term goals. The longer our body has been in a state of imbalance or disease, the longer it takes to return to a healthy state. Regular follow ups are the only way to achieve meaningful changes that truly transform your health.
