IV THERAPY

IV therapy is a powerful and efficient way to deliver essential nutrients directly into your bloodstream. I specialize in offering IV iron therapy, which is particularly beneficial for individuals with iron deficiency or iron deficiency anemia. Unlike oral iron supplements, which can sometimes cause digestive discomfort and take longer to increase iron levels, IV iron provides a more immediate and effective solution.

What to Expect During IV Therapy

Your first IV therapy session will last about 45 minutes. During this time, I can answer any questions you may have, ensure the IV is administered at a comfortable pace, and discuss any follow-up plans, including additional IV sessions or lab work. Subsequent sessions are typically shorter, around 30 minutes, as the process becomes more familiar.

At my clinic, I can offer higher and more therapeutic dosages than at general infusion clinics, allowing for faster and more noticeable improvements. Many patients report feeling a boost in energy, better sleep, improved mood, and relief from symptoms associated with iron deficiency shortly after treatment.

Who Can Benefit from IV Iron Therapy?

IV iron therapy is ideal for individuals who struggle with low iron levels despite oral supplementation and dietary adjustments. It’s particularly beneficial for those who experience side effects like constipation from oral iron supplements and those who have conditions that make absorbing iron difficult.

This therapy is especially suited for:

Individuals with heavy menstrual periods, who lose significant blood each month.
Vegetarians and vegans, as plant-based iron is less bioavailable.
Highly active individuals with increased iron needs due to their lifestyle.

IV Therapy Safety

Safety is always a top priority. I have extensive experience in administering IVs and take every precaution to ensure your treatment is as safe and effective as possible. My clinic is fully equipped to handle any rare complications that might arise, so you can feel confident in your care.

Getting Started with IV Therapy

To begin IV iron therapy, a referral is required. This can come from an initial consultation with me, another provider in our clinic, or an outside healthcare provider. Before starting treatment, some basic lab tests are necessary and will need to be updated periodically throughout your therapy.
